Vanessa is the name and don’t wear it out!! 90s baby at heart! Get ready for all of the references only we get… We are here now. The 30-something, saying, “I remember when”. I love it here! I am taking the time to just enjoy this season of life, as this season has my family and me embarking on an unimaginable journey.

I’m on an incredible journey of homeschooling my two little ones, ages 6 and 4. Why did we choose this path? It’s simple: faith, freedom, and family. We stepped away from the traditional school system to create something that was truly ours, something that reflects our values, nurtures our bond, and gives us the freedom to explore the world together.

Homeschooling isn’t just about academics; it’s about shaping hearts, building character, and growing alongside my kids every single day. Watching them “get it”, when the lightbulb clicks and they can apply what they’ve learned, is what fuels my passion. That moment is everything, and it reminds me why this journey, though challenging, is so deeply rewarding.

But let’s get real: this isn’t always easy. I’m naturally a planner, and being flexible doesn’t come naturally to me. Yet I’ve learned that homeschooling isn’t about having it all together; it’s about grace and growth. It’s about being present, even when things don’t go as planned, and embracing the journey for what it is.
